Dr. Ron Weber, a beloved retired family physician and devoted grandfather, needs a kidney.

As a family, we’re reaching out on his behalf because asking for help is never easy for someone who has spent a lifetime helping others. Ron is currently in stage 5 kidney failure, which means he’ll need to start dialysis treatment within the year. Dialysis is a tough process, and it’s also not a long-term solution. A new kidney is the only true cure for his condition.

Despite his situation, Ron remains in good spirits but finds it challenging to ask for something so significant. That’s why we, his children and his wife, are sharing his story. We aim to raise awareness about kidney disease and find a live kidney donor for Ron.

The donor evaluation process is thorough to ensure the health and safety of all involved, and it’s never binding. If you’re even slightly curious, we encourage you to start the process now with a simple phone call or email.

Throughout Ron’s life, in addition to always being there for his family, he has also helped his patients, who he considered to be a part of his extended family. Over the course of Ron’s 42-year career, he served thousands of patients throughout the Main Line community. He needs a living donor to be our family’s hero, and give him a working kidney.

Thank you for considering this life-saving opportunity.

Sincerely,

Shelley, Corey, and Adam
